Tom FrostPartner, CEO

Tom previously ran a principal investment team within Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander, an equities and funds group focused on infrastructure and renewable energy at Numis Securities, and was within a project finance team at KPMG. He holds a PhD in atmospheric chemistry.

Anthony RichardsonPartner, Chairman

Anthony specialises in advising listed investment companies particularly focused on real estate and infrastructure.

He has over 15 years’ investment banking, legal, asset management and corporate finance experience from Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander, Numis Securities, Nomura International, Taylor Wessing, and KPMG.  His global experience includes both UK and cross-border transactions and spans capital markets and M&A advisory for public and private companies in a number of different jurisdictions including Australia, Brazil, EU, India, Russia, Ukraine and the US.

David ShaptonPartner, Head of M&A

David is head of Akur’s M&A advisory business. He has over 20 years’ investment banking experience gained from Numis Securities, CIBC World Markets, BNP Paribas, and Akur. His experience includes both UK and cross-border transactions and spans capital markets and M&A advisory for public and private companies. David’s core specialism is in online gaming and betting, where he has advised some of the leading companies in the sector across the full range of international corporate activity.

Siobhan SergeantManaging Director

Siobhan has over 20 years’ experience in capital markets in London, working with all aspects of listed companies on the London Stock Exchange Main Market and AIM. Her role is primarily focused on quoted investment companies, particularly in the real estate and infrastructure sectors, as well as acting for a number of clients in gaming, leisure and financial services. Prior to joining Akur, Siobhan was a partner within the Capital Markets team at Smith & Williamson.

Simon Croft-BakerManaging Director

Simon has over 20 years’ investment banking experience gained from Houlihan Lokey, McQueen and JP Morgan. His experience includes a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, both public and private. He is a Consumer sector specialist having covered the industry since 2002.

Nabhan El Haddad Managing Director

Nabhan has over 18 years’ investment banking experience gained from Morgan Stanley, Perella Weinberg and Dial Partners. His experience includes M&A and fundraising transactions both domestic and cross-border, in a wide range of sectors with a particular focus on tech, real estate, and financial services.

Siobhan SergeantManaging Director

Siobhan has over 20 years’ experience in capital markets in London, working with all aspects of listed companies on the London Stock Exchange Main Market and AIM. Bertie previously spent five years at Grant Thornton where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked in the Deal Advisory team as a financial modeller.

During his time at Grant Thornton he was responsible for the development of models supporting M&A transactions across the mid-market PE and infrastructure space.

Ruben BarclayAssociate

Reuben previously spent three years at Deloitte New Zealand in the corporate finance team, working across various industries, including industrials, real estate, infrastructure, and financial services. He has experience in M&A, valuation, and debt advisory. During his time at Deloitte, Reuben also qualified as a CFA charterholder.

Bertie ColeAssociate
